NIRFAST is now built on the 3DSlicer platform, this enables:
Segment 3D medical images (DICOMS) to create numerical models for
optical computation/image reconstruction.
Visualise recovered images in 3D and/or overlaid on standard
Reconstruct optical images of chromophores, scatter parameters, or
luminescent parameters from real or simulated data.
Model multi-wavelength and luminescence (fluorescence and
bioluminescence) light propagation through tissues of arbitrary
shapes in CW, time domain or frequency domain.
